This 3 hour training program will highlight the New York State Department of Transportation and Federal MUTCD (Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices) basic work zone requirements as they relate to New York and Federal requirements, covering Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (M&PT), Devices and Placement, and the NYS DOT required work zone flagger procedures as required per the NYS Department of Transportation specification 619-3.02(L)(1). Please be aware that school personnel directing traffic should take this class.
