This one day course is intended to provide attendees with information on the requirements for organizational emergency management/action plans and includes a review of the applicable OSHA standard; plan components; and approaches to employee training and conducting emergency drills. Additionally, response actions for specific types of emergencies will be discussed, as well as incident command and public information. All places of employment are required to have an emergency action plan and all public sector employees need annual training on the emergency plan. This course will help you understand what you need to build the plan and how to train your employees.
