This workshop is intended to provide confined space entrants, attendants, supervisors, and program administrators with information on the hazards of, and the requirements for, identification of and entry into confined spaces. As part of this workshop attendees will enter a confined space to become familiar with the equipment and the process. Topics will include:

• The requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.116
• Written programs and entry permits
• Hazard recognition
• Confined space assessment techniques
• Rescue provisions

There are often misconceptions about who this regulation applies to. If you have pits, vaults, tanks, storm drains, septic cleanouts, boilers, machinery enclosures, or holes, you need to attend this session regardless of whether your employees enter these spaces or not.
